Vectorly — AI development school

Our Story

A School Built on
Honest Learning

Vectorly started from a simple observation: most AI education online talks more than it teaches. We wanted something different.

About Us

Where Vectorly Came From

Vectorly was founded in Chiang Mai with a focus on making AI and software development education more direct and practical. The northern Thailand tech community had been growing for years, with developers, digital nomads and local learners all exploring the same tools — but accessible structured courses were harder to find.

The founding team had worked in software development and data engineering across Southeast Asia. They saw learners struggle not because the material was too hard, but because courses were either too shallow or poorly paced. Vectorly was built to address that gap.

We offer three programmes — from a beginner Python and AI introduction through to an advanced AI engineering capstone — each designed to deliver genuine, usable skills. Every course involves building actual projects, receiving feedback from practitioners and working alongside a community of peers.

Being based in Chiang Mai means we understand the context our learners work in. The city is home to a growing developer community, and many of our students are local professionals, remote workers or people looking to transition into technical roles in the region.

Mission

To offer online AI and software development education that is well-structured, honest about what learners will achieve and genuinely useful in practice.

Vision

A learning environment where anyone with curiosity and commitment can work with AI tools thoughtfully, without hype or false urgency.

Values

Clarity over complexity. Practical before theoretical. Steady progress over overnight transformation. Feedback that helps rather than flatters.

The People

Those Who Build the Courses

Our team brings together software engineering, data science and online education experience.

AT

Ariya Thongchai

Lead Curriculum Designer

Former data engineer with eight years in production ML environments. Designs course structure and reviews all technical material for practical accuracy.

PW

Pimchanok Wongsakul

Senior Mentor — Python & AI

Software developer who has worked with Python in production since 2015. Provides code reviews and written feedback across all three programme levels.

NR

Nattapong Ruengsiri

Learner Experience & Support

Background in online education coordination. Manages community forums, support queries and keeps the learner experience clear and well-organised.

Standards

How We Approach Quality

We apply consistent standards to every course we offer, from content accuracy to learner privacy.

Content Review Process

All course material is reviewed by practising engineers before publication. We update content when tools or best practices change.

Learner Data Protection

Personal data is stored securely and used only for course access and communication. We comply with applicable Thai personal data protection requirements.

Feedback Standards

Mentors are required to provide specific, actionable written feedback on submitted work. We aim for responses within three business days.

Open-Source Tooling

We teach with open-source software so learners are not dependent on proprietary platforms. What you learn can be applied in a wide range of real environments.

Honest Course Descriptions

We describe exactly what each programme covers and what it does not. No outcome claims that we cannot stand behind are included in our materials.

Continuous Improvement

Learner feedback from each cohort is reviewed by the curriculum team. We refine course structure and content based on what actually helps people learn.

Our Approach

Learning AI Development the Practical Way

Vectorly operates from Chiang Mai, a city that has developed a real technical community over the past decade. Our location shapes how we think about online education — we work with learners who are building careers in technology across Thailand and the broader region, and we take that context seriously.

Artificial intelligence development is a field with a lot of noise. Vectorly's approach is to cut through that by focusing on what learners can actually do after completing a programme. The three courses we offer — covering Python fundamentals, machine learning project work and AI engineering — follow a clear progression and each involves substantial hands-on work.

We use Python throughout because it is the most widely-adopted language in data and AI work. The libraries and frameworks we teach — drawn from the open-source ecosystem — are the same tools used in production environments. We do not teach toy examples disconnected from real workflows.

Our mentor team is composed of working practitioners. Feedback on submitted projects comes from people with direct experience in the field, not from automated systems. This is slower and more labour-intensive than alternatives, but it produces better outcomes for learners.

Vectorly does not make career outcome claims. What we offer is well-designed courses, honest instruction and the kind of feedback that helps learners develop real competence. What learners do with those skills is up to them.
